When Deathly Hallows came out I was a missionary in Asia. Harry Potter was the devil to almost all my co-workers. I had to travel by bus two+ hours each way to get to a bookstore that carried the book and I secretly traveled in the wee hours of the night/morning to get my copy. I snuck back into the communal house and pretended to sleep on my bunkbed while I was secretly devouring the book. I finished it in one sitting and then hid the book at the bottom of my belongings until I moved away.

God I do not understand how someone could be so closed minded and idiotic enough to believe that a FANTASY NOVEL was the devil. Seriously people? Get your head out of your asses.
I am so glad you managed to read your book despite that ridiculousness.
